P&S Electrical are launching a new service that gives both homeowners and landlords peace of mind, ensuring that any equipment within their property is safe and complies with regulations.

It is estimated that there is currently over 2.5 million domestic appliances subject to manufacturers recall notices that are still in use with the owners unaware. Sadly we have seen effects of this, most recently the tragedy that occurred at Grenfell Tower where a fridge has been identified as the source of the fire resulting in the loss of 70+ lives.

For a fee of £50.00 + VAT our engineers will;

• Attend and complete a full Electrical Safety Test of 10 items of your choice
• Carry out a thermal image survey of these 10 items
• Cross reference the manufacturers database to ensure the appliance isn't subject to and recall notice
• Inspection of key areas of the appliance to ensure highlighted areas are clear from flammable materials
